Privacy policy
Short version: the only personal information this site collects is what you type into the contact form, and it goes straight to one inbox.
What is collected
If you fill in the contact form, Lark Websites receives the name, business name, email address, phone number, website address, and message you entered. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is stored.
If you email directly, the contents of your email and your address are held in the same inbox.
Analytics
This site may use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. Analytics records an approximate location, a device type, and the pages visited. It does not record your name, and it is never used to build a profile of you or to sell anything about you to anyone.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own. If Google Analytics is running, it sets its own measurement cookies. Blocking them in your browser does not break anything on this site.
How it is used
Inquiry details are used to reply to you and to quote the work. They are not added to a mailing list, not shared with anyone else, and not sold.
Where it is held
Form submissions are delivered by email and held in a business email account. The website itself is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Both services store data outside Canada.
How long it is kept
Inquiries that do not become projects are deleted within two years. Records for clients are kept for seven years, which is what Canadian tax rules require.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@larkwebsites.com and it will be done within thirty days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
